In a landmark gesture of community partnership, Meril provided 4,900 sq. meters of prime land to GETCO for 40 years, enabling the setup of a 66 KV substation in Vapi. This strategic move directly supports the city's rising electricity needs fueling homes, industries, and future growth while reinforcing our commitment to sustainable infrastructure and environmental stewardship. When no suitable land was available for the construction of a much-needed 66 KV substation in Vapi, Meril proactively stepped in. Its Meril's investment in Vapi's empowered, energy-secure future.

Building Capacity, Healing Communities

Meril Academy is our global training and learning platform dedicated to strengthening healthcare systems by building the skills of frontline professionals. Since inception, the academy has trained over 30,000 healthcare professionals across India and international geographies. Through a blend of on-site, virtual, and mobile modules, the Academy enables evidence-based clinical learning, covering areas such as interventional cardiology, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, and infection control. Trainings are delivered via expert-led workshops, simulation labs, and certification-based programs.

The Academy also plays a pivotal role in bridging care gaps in underserved regions, supporting quality healthcare access where it's needed most. By equipping medical professionals with the latest techniques and product know-how, Meril Academy ensures that innovation reaches the point of care with confidence and competence.

Education & Empowerment at the Heart of Our CSR

Our CSR is primarily implemented through the Maa Foundation, a public charitable trust that serves as the heart of our social mission. Annually, we supported over millions of students through education outreach programs spanning 500+ government schools across rural Gujarat. These initiatives include digital learning, infrastructure support, school adoption, and STEM enrichment.

To uplift women and marginalized communities, we run targeted skill-building and financial literacy programs. Over the past year, we have trained rural women, transgender individuals, and persons with disabilities, fostering self-employment, income generation, and dignity through inclusion.

Reviving urban Lakes & Community Spaces

Under a formal MoU with Vapi Municipal Corporation, Meril has taken charge of the development and long-term maintenance of two lake gardens spanning 35 and 24 acres. These rejuvenated green spaces will not only enhance urban biodiversity and climate resilience but also provide safe, accessible recreational areas benefiting the well-being of the wider community for generations to come.
